Services include:

  • Conducting inspections of rental housing to determine compliance with City code
  • Responding to complaints and service requests
  • Conducting pre-rental inspections for apartments in dwellings containing three or more units (exempt:  owner-occupied three family homes).  A Certificate of Apartment Occupancy is required prior to re-occupancy of units upon change of tennancy.   Application may be downloaded from this site.
  • Conduct hotel/rooming house licensing and inspection program.
  • Implement State Lead Poisoning Prevention and Control Regulations
  • Provide information regarding lead poisoning prevention
