We've made an electronic version of our "Danbury Agencies & Providers" available here. It will allow you to search by provider name, type, and language. You can download it for your perusal at a later time, or you can access it through this site by clicking here.
For information on other services and providers not listed in this directory, call InfoLine at 211.
If your computer does not have the Reader installed, you can download it free by clicking the icon to your left.
How the directory works (a quick tutorial on bookmarks):
This directory is set up as an Adobe Acrobat file with bookmarks. It is viewable on any system, and doesn't require exotic plug-ins to view. It has been specially formatted to look nearly identical to the printed version.
You can choose to view it as a plain document that you would navigate by "paging down," or you can view it with bookmarks. The document opens as a plain document by default. Please note that the Table of Contents functions as clickable links - simply click on the category to go to the desired section.
To display bookmarks, click the
button in the toolbar, or choose "bookmarks and page" from the "View" menu. Bookmarks function like pull-down menus; the triangles (or + signs if you use Acrobat Reader 4) and pages are clickable and take you where you want to go.
To search within the file, click the
button in the toolbar.
To save the directory on your system: Choose "Save as" from within Acrobat Reader.
To download it for later viewing: Put your curser on the link above and click your right mouse button. A dialog will come up that says, "Save Target As." This is where you can choose where on your system to save it.
